Riding a van from Manila, it took us seven to eight hours of travel time before we finally arrived at Ilocos. Nevertheless, our long wait was worth it because of the wonderful adventure we had during our 3-day trip.

Sharing with you below the Out of Home adventures we had during our trip in Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur.

 

1.) 4×4 Ride and Sand boarding

Our 4X4 Ride is one of the most thrilling adventure we had in Ilocos. Super exciting!

 

Sand Dunes

Sand Dunes is completely a desert place where the sun is extremely shining. Make sure you bring towels, hat or any sun block!

We don’t have snow boarding in the Philippines but we do have Sand boarding! This adventure is already included in Sand Dunes’ package. This is a must-try experience!

Yes, we survived from the easy to the highest trails of this desert! La Paz Sand Dunes is located at Paoay, Ilocos Norte.

 

2.) Swimming at Pagudpud Beach

Another attraction at Ilocos is their famous white sand beach – Blue Lagoon, Pagudpud!

Other activities you can do at Pagudpud includes zip line adventure and other water sports like banana boat ride. There are also available booths for  Permanent and Henna Tattoo!

 

3.) Horseback Riding

Horseback riding with view of Ilocos’ windmills. Did you know that Ilocos is at the forefront of renewable energy technology? See it yourself because your Ilocos tour wouldn’t be completed without visiting Bangui Windmills!

Ilocanos are friendly and so this horsey! Experience Horseback riding on your way to Kapurpurawan Rock Formation!

 

4.) Food Trip

Along the way of our adventure we had the opportunity to try  Ilocano foods such as Puqui-puqui,Warek warek, Bagnet, Pakbet, Special Empanada, Laoag and Vigan Longganisa, and the their ideal pasalubong, Royal Bibingka. Apart from these, they also have a lot of  dragon fruit produce.

 

5.) Heritage Tour
